It’s not about chasing maximum power, but about a smoother power curve, better throttle response, and more usable torque in both everyday riding and sport riding. At Throttle Punks, we offer proven fuel maps for engine control units (ECUs), developed specifically for particular motorcycle models.

Is ECU tuning safe?
Yes, if the map is designed correctly. Stock maps are often a compromise due to emissions regulations. An optimized fuel map can actually relieve the engine, especially when using a sport intake or exhaust system.
Will fuel economy change?
- During normal driving, fuel economy usually remains the same as before, but it depends a lot on how hard you press the gas pedal
- Most of our customers confirm that their fuel consumption increased slightly shortly after the ECU tuning, but they also admitted that they were so excited by the difference that they were pressing the gas pedal harder. :-) Once they got used to it, fuel consumption stabilized at the same levels as before.
How does ECU tuning work?
The ECU cannot be tuned online or remotely.
- Place your order and pay
- Send or deliver the control unit (ECU) to us ( we’ll send all instructions immediately after receiving payment)
- We’ll upload the appropriate fuel map
- We’ll send the ECU back to you—ready for installation (we’ll ship the unit back to you within 3 days at the latest)
Important Information (Please read before ordering)
We do not offer custom tuning. All our maps are designed for specific models in a verified configuration:
- Throttle Punks sports intake system
- homologated exhaust
- catalytic converter retained
Note: If the catalytic converter is removed, the map will not function at 100% capacity, and we cannot guarantee optimal results. For optimal results, we recommend tuning a motorcycle modified in this way on a dynamometer (we’d be happy to help you find someone to contact if needed). You can read more HERE.
