The goal of the development was to eliminate the restrictions of the stock airbox and improve airflow to the engine while maintaining maximum protection in demanding riding conditions. The result is a modern intake system with significantly reduced airflow resistance, helping the engine breathe more efficiently and improving throttle response throughout the entire RPM range.

Unlike the OEM setup, the Husqvarna 701 Rally Filter Kit uses a large-capacity dual-layer foam filter, selected specifically for its outstanding filtration performance in extreme environments. The filter reliably protects the engine from dust, sand, mud, and water, making it the ideal choice for adventure travel, rally racing, and everyday riding.

Despite its dual-layer protection, the system allows a significantly higher volume of air to pass through compared to the original filter. Thanks to smoother airflow and reduced intake restrictions, the engine can achieve increased power and torque under optimal conditions.
