Sport foam filters
Throttle Punks performance foam (polyurethane) filters are developed for motorcycles that are actually ridden - not garage showpieces. For specific models such as CFMOTO, Yamaha Ténéré, Aprilia Tuareg and others, we produce up to triple-layer foam filters designed to handle dust, sand, mud, water, and extreme riding conditions where standard filters quickly fail.

A foam filter works differently than a paper or cotton filter. It’s not just about airflow - it’s primarily about the ability to trap fine particles while providing long-term engine protection. That’s why foam filters are the standard in motocross, enduro, and off-road racing.

Why Choose a Throttle Punks Foam Filter?
- Excellent filtration of fine dust, sand, and mud
- Dual- or triple-layer structure = improved engine protection
- Resistant to water and heavy contamination
- Stable performance even in brutal conditions
- Easy maintenance and long service life
Throttle Punks filters are not disposable. Simply wash them in warm water, let them dry, re-oil with foam filter oil, and you’re ready to ride again. Operating costs are significantly lower compared to paper or cotton filters.
Foam Filter vs. Paper or Cotton Filter
Paper (OEM) Filters
- Clog quickly in dusty conditions
- Lose filtration efficiency once contaminated
- Usually disposable = higher long-term costs
Cotton Filters (OEM / Performance)
- Better airflow but weaker fine-particle filtration
- More sensitive to water and mud
- Less suitable for true off-road conditions
Throttle Punks Foam Filters
- Significantly better fine-particle filtration
- Perform reliably in wet, muddy, and extreme environments
- Ideal for enduro, motocross, adventure, and rally use
- Fully compatible with performance intake systems
Maintenance & Extreme Use
In extreme conditions, a foam filter needs to be cleaned or replaced more frequently — and that’s completely normal. Motocross racers often change their filter after every race because engine protection is always the priority.
A foam filter gives you the ability to handle maintenance quickly, affordably, and without hassle.
