What will ECU tuning bring to you and your motorcycle?

Is ECU tuning safe?

Yes, if the map is properly designed. Stock ECU maps are often a compromise due to emissions regulations. An optimized fuel map can actually be easier on the engine, especially when combined with a sport intake or exhaust.

Will fuel consumption change?

• during normal riding, fuel consumption usually stays the same as before – though it largely depends on how heavy your throttle hand is

• many of our customers report a slight increase in consumption shortly after the ECU upgrade, mostly because they enjoy the improvement so much that they ride harder 😄 Once they get used to it, consumption typically settles back to the original levels

How does ECU tuning work?

ECU tuning cannot be done online or remotely.

1. you place and pay for the order
2. you send or deliver the ECU to us (all instructions are sent immediately after payment is received)
3. we upload the appropriate fuel map
4. we ship the ECU back to you – ready for installation (we send it back within 3 days at the latest)

Important information (please read before ordering)

We do not offer custom, individual ECU tuning. All our maps are developed for specific motorcycle models in a proven configuration:

• Throttle Punks sport intake system
• homologated exhaust
• catalytic converter retained

Important: if the catalytic converter has been removed, the map will not work at 100% and optimal results cannot be guaranteed. For the best outcome, we recommend having such a motorcycle tuned on a dynamometer. You can read more HERE.
