Airbox Upgrade Original
Airbox Upgrade is a modification of the stock airbox that improves airflow to the engine without the need to replace the entire intake system. As a result, the engine breathes better, delivers a smoother power curve, and responds more quickly to throttle input.
It is an original solution developed in the Throttle Punks™ garage, designed, tuned, and tested on specific motorcycle models. It is a functional upgrade with verified geometry and proven airflow performance.

Airbox Upgrade by Throttle Punks is for you if:
- for any reason, you do not want to invest in a complete sport intake system
- you want a quick and straightforward modification you can easily install yourself
- you ride mainly on the road or at a sporty pace
- you want better engine response, a smoother mid-range, and a bit more character
⚠ Warning: Not recommended for off-road riding, water crossings, or use in extremely dusty conditions.
What Airbox Upgrade brings you:
- increased airflow to the engine
- a smoother power curve in the mid-range
- a slight but clearly noticeable increase in power and torque
(on some models up to approx. +2 HP and +4 Nm) - sharper throttle response
- a deeper and more pronounced intake sound that adds character to the engine
- the effect is noticeable immediately after installation, without the need for complex tuning
Airbox Upgrade also has its limits:
- intake noise increases after installation - the engine becomes more audible
- the original paper air filter requires more frequent inspection and maintenance
- not recommended for off-road use (dust, mud, water)
- if you are expecting maximum performance gains, we recommend considering a more advanced high-performance upgrade - the Power Kit (custom ECU mapping + homologated exhaust)
- this is not a replacement for our complete sport intake system - it is a sensible compromise between price, simplicity, and functional benefit
Installation is very simple and can be done by anyone:
- you can install it yourself in just a few minutes
- tools required: 4 mm Allen key
- no additional accessories are needed
- if you are unsure, feel free to call or message us - you would not be the first, and definitely not the last :-)
